Hasland Kids Zone operates each day that school is open from the Baptist Church Hall on Eyre Street East in Hasland. Our senior club caters for children in year two at the Infant School and children attending Hasland Junior School.
The club is open from 7:30am until the start of school and from the close of school until 6pm. Breakfast is provided to those children who wish to have it and an afternoon snack is provided to all children, Refreshments are available at all times and children are encouraged to help themselves to these.
Little Tykes Kids Zone is based in Hasland Infant School and provides free nursery top-up care of 2.5 hours each week to eligible children. Children in reception classes and in year 1 also attend this setting.
This club is open from 7:45am until 6pm. However, after 5pm the children are taken the short distance across to the Church Hall.
Each setting is registered with Ofsted and employs fully qualified staff with many years of childcare individually and between them. All necessary first aid, food hygiene and other key qualifications are also maintained.
Attendance
Attendance at the two clubs is by contract and in accordance with our terms and conditions. Kids Zone are formally partnered with Hasland Infant School under the Governments Extended Childcare Initiative. Children are accepted into the clubs in the following order of priority:
- Nursery, reception and other infant school children
- Siblings of children falling into the above category who attend Infant School
- Siblings of Infant School children who attend Hasland Junior School
- Children attending Hasland Infant school subject to available places.
